Avid hotel Melbourne - Viera, an IHG Hotel

“I stayed at this hotel recently. It looks like a relatively new property, as everything is in clean and pristine condition. The staff is about as personable as to be expected. The rooms are very nice and clean, and everything is laid out conveniently for a business guest. The climate control is comfortable. Only complaint I have about the climate control is the fan is always on, even if the unit is not actively cooling or heating the room, and the fan is kind of loud. The room service was very good, and the shower was clean and modern. The only issue I had with the shower was low water pressure. The bathroom has a convenient motion sensing power switch, so the light turns on automatically when you enter the bathroom. The only caveat to that is, after you’ve been in the shower for a few minutes, the motion detector doesn’t see your motion and shuts off the light while you were in the middle of a shower. I had to open the shower door and wave my arm around for the lights to come back on. Overall, it’s a great hotel, and I would recommend it. I would absolutely stay there again, especially given the fact that it is surrounded by plenty of different places to eat just don’t show up after 10 PM, or you will have very limited selections of places to go that, of course, is not within the control of the hotel.”

“Nice Hotel.Close to Space Coast Stadium.Great setup - outside seating. Very nicely decorated, modern.Nice pool, breakfast room and clean gym.The rooms are clean- small fridge and safe, but no coffee maker. Coffee/tea seems to be always available in the lobby.Great coffee machine which grinds and brews on the spot.The area is great. Sonny’s BBQ right across the way within walking distance. Gas station/shop is right down the road. Across the blvd is Chick Fil A and McDonalds. I would definitely stay here again or when looking for a hotel elsewhere, would look for this brand.”
